This was my first project for my processing class at RIT. The final print was 18x24".

I created a series of ribbons that followed the mouse. When these ribbons are reflected on the verticle and horizontal axis, the symmetry creates an ornate, almost snowflake-like design.

These designs reminded me of ancient cultures and their craft of creating mandorlas out of colored sands. I had seen one of these at a museum when I was younger. With that inspiration I tweaked the code and movement to refine the design and colors to reflect that aged, refined design sensibility.
