ILLUSTRATIVE FILM CREDIT OPENING
For my Dynamic Typography class at RIT we had to create a film or tv show open. I've always enjoyed fantasy films, particularly spanish-language mythology like Guillermo Del Toro's “Pan's Labyringth, which came out the year I took this class. Since I also really enjoy illustration, I decided to create a 2.5D-style fly through of this textured, illustrative world. A majority of my time was spent on the initial design and storyboards which I've posted below. Not only did this help me visualize the final animation, it also made it much easier to bring assets into After Effects -- layered, sequential and ready to go.
