If you haven't heard it then you're lucky, because it's probably never been stuck in your head; The Black Eyed Peas song "I'ma Be" is yet another catchy and addictive pop song.

I've always been interested in popular music. It's not my favorite genre musically, but I enjoy how much a song can make you feel happy and ready to party in just a few notes. That's what this piece is about, but with a little more edge. I went for a more stylized visual, trying to capture a vintage, hollywood feel. I added rich textures, subtle dust and particles, and dramatic lighting to create a an environment like that of an old hollywood movie. It actually reminds me of the old theater in my hometown: Red velvet seats, dusty lights, antique cameras and beautiful brass handled doors.

I might come back to this piece down the road, but for now I think it's done.
